SAN DIEGO, CA — A San Diego woman will make her television debut Friday dressed as a piece of toast.

Brittany McPartland, 36, was a contestant on the game show, "Let's Make a Deal," which is known for its audience members who dress up in costumes to get host Wayne Brady's attention, in hopes of getting a chance to compete.

"I've never done anything regarding television or anything of that nature," McPartland told Patch. "I just randomly came across an ad and filled it out. I was extremely blessed!"

McPartland, a San Diego native, came to be a fan of the show because of Brady.

"I've always thought Wayne Brady had such vivacious energy," said McPartland, who works in cognitive health. "It's so hard to look at him and not smile, and that positivity made me start watching the show."

McPartland did not disclose whether or not she won a prize but said meeting the other contestants was her favorite part of the experience. She went to the taping alone when her friend couldn't join her, but McPartland said she made new friends that day.

"They were amazing people," she said. "I met some amazing individuals I feel I'll be friends with for the rest of my life!"

The episode is scheduled to air Friday on CBS.
