San Diego Native in Porchlight’s Latest Streamed Concert

San Diego native Ciarra Stroud will be featured in New Faces Sing Broadway 1947 at Porchlight Music Theatre, which highlights the next generation of talent, alongside host Robin DaSilva and nine other up and coming talents. Audiences can expect to be taken on a 90 minute musical journey of the 1947 Broadway season through song, historic information, trivia and sing alongs. New Faces will be available for streaming beginning Friday, April 8 at 12 p.m. CDT through Thursday, May 5 at 11:59 p.m. CDT.

Ciarra Stroud is a San Diego native who currently resides in Uptown, Chicago. She graduated from Serra High School (San Diego) and University of California Irvine. Her Chicago credits include Black Ensemble Theatre’s upcoming production of It’s Just Like Coming to Church.

New Faces Sing Broadway 1947 is directed by Adrian Abel Azevedo, with music direction by Linda Madonia and was filmed on-site at The Ruth Page Center for the Arts where Porchlight Music Theatre is an in-resident organization.
