San Diego Workforce Partnership To Host Career Fairs For Job Seekers

Both events are free but require advance registration.

SAN DIEGO, CA — The San Diego Workforce Partnership will host two career fairs next week to connect job seekers with employers in health care, behavioral health, government and agriculture sectors in San Diego County.

The South County Career Fair, "Spring into Your Future," will be held from 10 a.m. to noon April 8 at the MAAC Community Center in Chula Vista. The North County Career Fair, "The San Diego County Future of Food Job Fair," will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Escondido AgX Regional Innovation Hub. Both events are free but require advance registration.

Job seekers will have the chance to meet more than 15 employers and apply for open positions ranging from field technicians and water quality control specialists to software developers and logistics professionals. Participants are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes and be prepared for on-site interviews.

Employers attending include the County of San Diego Department of Human Resources, 1Heart Caregiver Services, Allied Universal Event Services, Family Health Centers of San Diego, Groundwork San Diego, and Healthy Hound Products.

The events come as the county has experienced a slowdown in job growth, with 62% fewer jobs added last year compared with 2024, according to state labor data.
