SeaWorld San Diego To Celebrate Lunar New Year

The two-day celebration, slated Feb. 10-11, will feature cultural performances and culinary delights.

SAN DIEGO, CA — SeaWorld San Diego is celebrating Lunar New Year.

The two-day celebration, slated Feb. 10-11, will feature cultural performances, culinary delights and festive décor at the theme park's Wild Arctic Plaza.

The Lunar New Year Festival Stage will feature cultural performances from local community groups, including Taiko drummers and lion dancers. Lucky red envelopes will also be handed out, with each envelope containing a special surprise or saying to symbolize good wishes and luck for the year ahead.

SeaWorld will also have Asian-inspired food and beverage options during the festival. There will be chicken and veggie fried rice, chow mein, veggie pot stickers, beef bulgolgi, mango mochi and more. Drink options will include Lucky Dragon Punch with lychee popping boba, Shiso Highball, and a Fortune Fizz cocktail.

The event is included with park admission.
