SeaWorld San Diego Welcomes Back ‘Dozer’ The Walrus
Dozer, who was born in 1993, returned to the park after a breeding visit to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington.

SAN DIEGO, CA – A walrus born at SeaWorld San Diego 24 years ago is back home at the park.
Dozer, who was born in 1993, returned to the park after a breeding visit to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington. The 3,000-pound male walrus is one of only 15 walruses in accredited zoos and aquariums in the United States, so the institutions work together to breed the sea mammals.
Dozer has lived at all three SeaWorld parks. He now lives with two other walruses at SeaWorld, a 7-year-old female named Chouchou and a 5-year-old male named Mitik.
