ESCONDIDO, CA — Seniors get free admission to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in February.
The Escondido-based park is offering people 65 and older free admission during Seniors Free Month. The 1,800-acre wildlife park is home to more than 3,000 animals representing over 300 species, alongside a botanical collection featuring more than 1.3 million plants.
New this year, the Safari Park is introducing its Seniors Free Mobility Map, which was designed to enhance accessibility and convenience for seniors. The guide highlights accessible walking paths, categorized by difficulty levels, and provides details on mobility-friendly features such as wheelchair and scooter rentals, accessible pedestrian paths, and an accessibility shuttle connecting key areas of the park.

Additionally, the new Safari Excursions area has been designed to be fully ADA-compliant and accessible, ensuring an inclusive experience for all visitors.

The special Seniors Free Month offer applies exclusively to the Safari Park during February. To participate, visitors need to present a valid photo ID. Parking is not included.

The Safari Park is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at 15500 San Pasqual Valley Road in Escondido.
