CHULA VISTA, CA — Sesame Place San Diego will kick off its fourth birthday celebration when the Chula Vista-based park reopens this spring.

Sesame Place San Diego, the only West Coast theme park based entirely on the children's television show, "Sesame Street," is slated to reopen March 27. It's the first time the park will reopen after previously announcing an unexpected early end to its 2025 season and switching to a seasonal schedule.

Sesame Place will be open daily during spring break from March 27 through April 5 before transitioning to a weekends‑only schedule until Memorial Day weekend, when daily operations resume. The 17-acre park features 18 themed family-friendly rides and water attractions, an interactive "Sesame Street" neighborhood, a parade, shows and character meet‑and‑greets. Water attractions are set to open later this spring.
