Shooter Targets San Diego Pizza Shop Twice In One Week

SAN DIEGO — Police sought the public's help Thursday in identifying a suspect who fired shots at a San Diego pizza restaurant twice in the same week.

The shootings happened at Big Oven Pizza at 5025 Shawline St. in the Kearny Mesa neighborhood, according to the San Diego Police Department.

A person in a white pickup truck fired at the glass doors of the business, causing significant damage, between 10:40 p.m. and 11:06 p.m. on Feb. 15, according to the department. What appeared to be the same truck returned at 10:17 p.m. Feb. 19 and fired at the doors again, shattering the glass.

No injuries were reported.
