SigAlert: Crash Closes I-5 Lanes At Del Mar Heights Road

SAN DIEGO, CA — A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 shut down several lanes at Del Mar Heights Road Monday morning, officials said.

The crash was reported around 4:45 a.m. on northbound I-5 at Del Mar Heights Road, according to the California Highway Patrol's incident log. Authorities issued a SigAlert for the area.

All lanes were initially blocked due to the crash, according to Caltrans. By 6:30 a.m., two lanes and the HOV lane were reopened. Three lanes remained closed.
