Body Found At Small Brush Fire Along SR-905 Prompts SigAlert
Firefighters responded to the blaze and found the body, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Firefighters found a body Wednesday morning near a small brush fire along Interstate 5 and state Route 905, prompting a SigAlert for the area.
Crews responded to the blaze shortly before 5 a.m. and found the body, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
"Our crew put out a fire that was about 30-by-30 feet and one deceased victim was located," San Diego Fire-Rescue Department spokesperson Mónica Muñoz told Patch. "CHP was notified and the scene was preserved."

A SigAlert was issued for the southbound I-5 ramp to the eastbound state Route 905 connector at 6:56 a.m., according to the CHP's incident log.
"Transition is closed due to fire and police activity for an unknown duration," the CHP said.

Caltrans announced around 9 a.m. that the closure also included the Tacoyo Avenue off-ramp. The southbound I-5 ramp to eastbound SR-905 reopened by 12:45 p.m.
