Single Traffic Fatality Over July 4th Weekend In San Diego County
A single traffic fatality took place in the San Diego area during the long Fourth of July weekend, authorities reported.
SAN DIEGO – A single traffic fatality took place in the San Diego area during the long Fourth of July weekend, authorities reported Monday.
Over the same 102-hour period, California Highway Patrol officers made 89 DUI arrests in the county, compared with 34 last year.
Statewide, 36 people died in vehicle crashes and the CHP made 1,317 DUI arrests between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 11:59 p.m. Sunday, the agency reported.
