The fire weather watch will be in effect from midnight Thursday through 10 a.m. Friday for the county's inland valleys and mountains, according to the National Weather Service.

The Lilac Fire, now 92 percent contained, scorched 4,100 acres, destroyed 157 structures and damaged 64 others in San Diego's North County while the region was under a red flag warning last week. The warning expired Sunday night.
