Solomon Ward Promotes Jing Li to Partner

Elevation of Li bolsters firm's Business Litigation practice

Solomon Ward Seidenwurm & Smith, LLP, a leading full-service law firm providing sophisticated legal services to businesses and individuals, has promoted Jing Y. Li to partner of the firm, effective July 1, 2024.

An employment and business litigator, Li defends California employers against discrimination and sexual harassment claims and in wage and hour disputes. He handles class actions, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) and a variety of other labor and employment litigation issues. Li also has a broad range of real estate experience, including unlawful detainers, real estate leasing issues and commercial and residential property management.

Fluent in Mandarin, Li is focused on attracting foreign businesses to California and assisting them with their legal needs in the state. His experience with foreign companies includes the representation of international clients on the formation of their U.S. entities, employment advice and counseling, defending international clients on employment and business dispute matters and prosecuting his clients’ claims in commercial disputes.

Active in the community, Li is a volunteer attorney with the San Diego County Bar Association’s Diversity Fellowship Program and serves as a mentor within the program. He also mentors local law school students.

Li holds a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Rating and was recognized as a Top Lawyer in Business Litigation by San Diego Magazine. He was also named a Rising Star in the San Diego Business Journal’s Leaders in Law Awards.

Li received his law degree from California Western School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
