Strong Winds Prompt Advisory For Parts Of San Diego County

Weather officials warned gusty winds could move unsecured objects, and cause downed tree limbs and power outages.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Forecasted gusty winds have prompted a wind advisory for parts of San Diego County.

A wind advisory will be in effect from 8 p.m. Tuesday through 11 p.m. Thursday for the county deserts and mountains, according to the National Weather Service.

West winds from 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph are expected, the NWS said.
