Sweetgreen Opens Fourth Restaurant In San Diego County
The fast-casual restaurant chain, which serves healthy salads and bowls, is now in the 4S Commons Town Center.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Sweetgreen is expanding in San Diego County. The fast-casual restaurant chain, which serves healthy salads and bowls, is opening its doors Tuesday in the 4S Commons Town Center in San Diego.
This is the fourth Sweetgreen restaurant in the San Diego area. Sweetgreen restaurants are also in Carlsbad, Del Mar and La Jolla.
To celebrate opening day, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:45 a.m. with the North San Diego Business Chamber of Commerce, according to the company. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., customers can enjoy live music from The Heart Band as well as complimentary giveaways, including a build-your-own floral bar with Posies Floral Co., refreshments by OLIPOP, and Sweetgreen merch by Junes, while supplies last.

In addition, for every meal sold on opening day, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank to nourish people experiencing food insecurity, according to the company.
The new eatery features 1,904 square feet of space that can accommodate up to seven diners inside with counter seating and 24 diners outside on the patio.

The restaurant in located in the 4S Commons Town Center at 10562 Craftsman Way, Suite 192. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
