Tidepooling Adventures Return To Birch Aquarium

Tickets for Birch Aquarium's Tidepooling Adventures go on sale Dec. 15.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Birch Aquarium this week announced the return of Tidepooling Adventures.

Beginning Jan. 20, Tidepooling Adventures will allow adventurers to explore local tide pools, which are home to a variety of animals including snails, mussels, urchins, sea stars, small fish and octopus.

During the 90-minute outings, explorers will discover animals that live in the intertidal zone, the rocky area that is exposed during low tide. Participants will also learn how to safely navigate slippery rocks and spot the most elusive creatures in the rugged environment.
