Two Gunmen Rob Jewelry Store In Mission Valley
Police Thursday were searching for two masked gunmen suspected of robbing a jewelry store in Mission Valley.

SAN DIEGO, CA – Police Thursday were searching for two masked gunmen suspected of robbing a jewelry store in Mission Valley.
It happened shortly before 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Jared jewelry store in the Westfield Mission Valley mall, according to San Diego police.
Two men armed with handguns entered the store and ordered everyone inside to get on the floor before one of the men checked the display cases while the other watched the customers, Officer John Buttle said.

The thieves located a case containing loose jewelry, smashed it open and left with an undisclosed amount of jewelry, Buttle said.
The suspects fled the area on foot and were last seen heading northbound on Mission Center Road, Buttle said.

Both suspects were described as 5-feet-8-inch black men believed to be in their 20s. They were last seen wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves.
Robbery detectives were investigating the heist.
