In San Diego, eateries Callie and Morning Glory were both named.

For Morning Glory, reviewers noted, "It's strictly breakfast and brunch at this spot in San Diego's Little Italy. It's all about familiar favorites and of-the-moment meals; hello, avocado toast and shakshuka."

Further north of San Diego, Corazon Cocina on the Central Coast received this review, "The Santa Barbara Public Market is full of alluring eateries, but after your first taste of this charming taco stand, you’ll want to pledge your heart. Chef and owner Ramon Velazquez mastered the craft of handmade tortillas and zesty salsas."

Valley, in Sonoma, delivers on its Wine Country location, "The affordable wine list is a veritable call to adventure, highlighting organic and biodynamic favorites from California and beyond. The kitchen serves items such as soft-boiled eggs finished with a savory XO sauce and duck breast tortillas served with house-made hoisin that is best in class."

The list only includes restaurants making their first appearance in 2021. To see the complete list of more than 100 California Bib Gourmand restaurants, download the Michelin app. You will see the updates on Tuesday when Michelin announces its stars for 2021.
