Vehicle Towed After Going Off SR-163, No One Hurt
Firefighters responded to a crash scene after a vehicle went off a San Diego roadway.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Firefighters responded to a crash scene Thursday after a vehicle went off a San Diego roadway.
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department received a report of a vehicle occupant in need of rescue at northbound state Route 163 at Washington Street around 12:20 p.m. Thursday, SDFRD Capt. Roger Shanley said.
No rescue was required, Shanley said. The vehicle simply needed to be towed.

Howerver, a total of 23 personnel responded to the scene with equipment including three engines, one medic, one truck, one battalion chief and one rescue vehicle.
The incident was closed about 1:15 p.m.
