Victim Of Fatal San Diego-Area Traffic Crash ID'd
Paramedics took the man to UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest, where he was pronounced dead several hours later, officials said.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Authorities have publicly identified a 50-year-old man who lost his life late last week to a Nestor-area traffic accident.
Hector Manuel Herrera Jr. of San Diego was fatally injured at about 9:15 p.m. Friday in a collision in the 2200 block of Iris Avenue, south of Coronado Avenue and just west of Hollister Street, according to the county Medical Examiner's Office.
Paramedics took Herrera to UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest, where he was pronounced dead several hours later, the agency reported.
