Video Shows Man Violently Shove Woman At San Diego Redbox

Surveillance video captured by the store's security camera shows the man standing behind the woman, then shove her to the ground.

SAN DIEGO, CA – Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who violently shoved a woman to the ground while she was trying to rent a movie from a Redbox kiosk in San Diego.

The assault happened around 9 p.m. Feb. 15 as the woman was standing at the kiosk outside the 7-Eleven at 3019 Meade Ave. in San Diego's North Park neighborhood, according to the San Diego Police Department.

The woman fell into the parking lot and suffered injuries, police said. Without glancing at her, the man begins using the Redbox machine.

Police released the video in the hope that someone will recognize the man. Anyone with information was asked to call Detective Kevin Armentano at 619-516-3025.
