Vista Sports Report-Girls Volleyball Reaches CIF Section Finals with win over Grossmont in Semi Final

Willauer-Contributing Writer-For the first time in school history the Lady Panthers of Vista High won the Division III CIF semi final match against Grossmont High in four sets, 17-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-19. Kill leader was Becca Whitney with 27 plus 4 aces. Jackie Barbosa had 40 digs and 40 assists to clinch the win 4 sets to one. The Vista High Lady Panthers are now 21-8 overall and will be competing against Helix on Saturday for the Division championship.
