Viva La Música Festival Returns To SeaWorld San Diego With Live Music, Food

The opening weekend will also feature the return of SoCal Taco Fest.

SAN DIEGO, CA — SeaWorld San Diego will host its annual Viva La Música festival on weekends from May 1 through May 17, featuring live Latin music, food and cultural performances.

The festival will take place Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with concerts at the park's Bayside Amphitheater and a nearby festival area with local performers, community groups and family activities celebrating Latin and Mexican heritage.

Headlining acts include Frankie J, who will perform May 2 and return May 3 with Baby Bash. Additional performers include La Estrella de Los Bailes on May 9-10 and La Sonora Dinamita on May 16-17.

The opening weekend will also feature the return of SoCal Taco Fest on May 2-3, serving the region's best taco spots, live music and DJs, Lucha Libre All-Stars matches, chihuahua beauty pageants, and live culinary demonstrations.

Additional entertainment throughout the event includes performances by Mariachi Divas by Cindy Shea and other community acts, along with arts and crafts activities for families.

Admission to all concerts and festival entertainment is included with park admission, while reserved seating is available for purchase. Tacos and other food and beverages will be available for purchase.
