Water contact advisories have been issued for several locations due to bacteria levels exceeding health standards.
SAN DIEGO, CA — San Diego health officials Saturday released an updated water contact advisory and closure list for San Diego County beaches.
Water contact advisories have been issued for the following locations due to bacteria levels exceeding health standards:
-- Coronado - Avenida Lunar;
-- San Diego Bay - Coronado - Tidelands Park Shoreline;
-- Ocean Beach - Dog Beach;
-- Mission Bay - Campland Beachline;
-- Tourmaline Surf Park - Pacific Beach;
-- La Jolla - Cove Beachline and;
-- La Jolla - Children's Pool.

Water contact closures have been issued for the following locations due to bacteria levels exceeding health standards:
-- Silver Strand Shoreline - ocean shoreline from Carnation to Avenida Lunar;
-- Imperial Beach Shorelines - ocean shoreline from the south end of Seacoast Drive to Carnation Avenue and;
-- Tijuana Slough Shoreline - ocean shoreline from U.S./Mexico border, including Border Field State Park and the Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge due to cross boundary flows.
