Disney On Ice

• What: Disney On Ice presents Let's Dance! will feature stories and songs from Disney films, along with ice skating, aerial acrobatics, stunts and special effects.

Farmers Insurance Open

• When: Jan. 29–Feb .1
• Where: Torrey Pines Golf Course, 11480 North Torrey Pines Road, La Jolla
• What: The professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour is held annually at the iconic Torrey Pines Golf Course.

Inside Look

• When: Jan. 17–19
• Where: SeaWorld San Diego, 500 Sea World Drive, San Diego
• What: The theme park's Inside Look event is back with all-new presentations and interactive opportunities. The event offers educational experiences highlighting marine rescue, research and conservation.

Lunar New Year

• When: Jan. 31–Feb. 16

• What: Celebrate the Year of the Horse with eight days of festive performances, vibrant decor, and traditions that honor energy, optimism, independence and new beginnings.

Mardi Gras

• Where: Celebrate the spirit of carnival with a parade, live music, colorful costumes, and Creole and Cajun food.

Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and Festival

• When: Jan. 18
• Where: Harbor Drive South, San Diego
• What: Event organizers call this event one of the largest celebrations of its kind in the U.S. in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Monster Energy Supercross

• When: Jan. 17
• Where: Snapdragon Stadium, 2101 Stadium Way, San Diego
• What: The off-road motorcycle racing championship features elite riders competing on custom-built dirt tracks.

Monster Jam

• When: Jan. 24–25
• Where: Snapdragon Stadium, 2101 Stadium Way, San Diego
• What: The motorsports event tour features 12 athletes and their 12,000-pound monster trucks tearing up the dirt in competitions of speed and skill.

San Diego Lunar New Year Festival

• When: Feb. 13–15

• What: The festival offers traditional Asian cuisine, live performances, and a marketplace with crafts and gifts.

San Diego Restaurant Week

• When: Jan. 25–Feb. 1
• Where: Participating restaurants across San Diego County
• What: The bi-annual event will showcase more than 100 restaurants across the county offering specially curated two-course lunches and three-course dinners starting at $30.

San Diego Rodeo

• When: Jan. 16–18
