Wild Wonders ​Offers 'Cheetah, Cheese And Crackers' Meet And Greet

BONSALL, CA — A cheetah and dog are best friends at Wild Wonders, an animal refuge and wildlife education organization in northern San Diego County.

Animal enthusiasts can meet the unlikely duo Sunday at the Bonsall-based organization. Wild Wonders will host Cheetah, Cheese and Crackers, a special meet-and-greet event with 2-year-old cheetah Tavi and his best friend, a Labrador retriever named Yara.

Attendees will also get a chance to meet Jackie Navarro, the founder and director of Wild Wonders, while they snack on cheese and crackers and sip wine.

The event will take place from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at Wild Wonders at 5712 Via Montellano in Bonsall.

Tickets cost $125 per person, which includes meet and greets with Tavi, Yara and Navarro, along with wine, cheese and crackers. Attendees must be 21 years or older.

A portion of the event proceeds will benefit cheetah conservation, according to the organization.
