Wind Advisory In Effect In Parts Of San Diego County

West winds from 20 mph to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected in the county deserts.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A wind advisory is in effect Wednesday morning in parts of San Diego County.

The advisory is in effect until 11 a.m. for the county deserts, according to the National Weather Service. West winds from 20 mph to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected in the area.

Forecasters warned areas of blowing dust can reduce visibility at times. Gusty winds can blow around unsecured objects and blow down tree branches and cause power outages.
