Wind Advisory Issued For Parts Of San Diego County
West winds from 25 mph to 35 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph, are expected in the county deserts and mountains.
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A wind advisory was issued for parts of San Diego County.
The advisory is in effect from 4 p.m. Thursday until 6 p.m. Friday for the county deserts and mountains, according to the National Weather Service. The advisory is also in effect in Julian, Pine Valley and Borrego Springs.
West winds from 25 mph to 35 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph, are expected in the county deserts and mountains. Local gusts are expected up to 70 mph.

"Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects," forecasters warned. "Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Reduced visibility in the deserts from blowing dust."
Weather officials recommend motorists use extra caution when driving, especially those operating high-profile vehicles, and to secure outdoor objects.
