Woman Robs Miramar Wells Fargo Branch

A woman robbed a Wells Fargo bank Thursday in the Miramar area of San Diego.

SAN DIEGO — A woman robbed a Wells Fargo bank Thursday in the Miramar area of San Diego.

The suspect entered the bank in the 9200 block of Miramar Road about 5:55 p.m., approached a teller and demanded cash, according to San Diego Police Department Officer Robert Heims.

The teller handed over an unspecified amount of money and the suspect fled out the front door, Heims said.

The teller did not know the woman's direction of travel nor if she got into a vehicle.

The suspect was described as black, in her mid 40s, 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium complexion, brown eyes and black-and-gray hair. She was wearing a loose-fitting gray hoodie and dark pants.
