Woman, Teen Girl Struck By Car At San Diego Intersection
A woman and a teen girl suffered injuries when they were both struck by a car at a Talmadge intersection, police said.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A 67-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and a 16-year-old girl suffered minor injuries when they were both struck by a car at a Talmadge intersection, police said Tuesday.
It happened shortly after 8:05 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Collwood Boulevard and 54th Street, San Diego police Officer John Buttle said.
An 81-year-old woman was driving a 2003 Subaru Baja northbound on Collwood Boulevard when she struck the two victims at the intersection, Buttle said.

Both were taken to a hospital, the older woman for treatment of fractures to her leg arm and leg and the teenage girl for minor injuries, the officer said.
The Subaru driver remained at the scene and intoxication was not believed to have been a factor in the crash, he said.
