Ariana Miller battled congenital heart disease including six open-heart surgeries. While waiting for a heart transplant, the one bright spot in her week was a visit from her music therapist.

Sadly, Ariana passed away at age 13, but her parents have helped bring music therapy to thousands of other children through the program named for her.

According to Rachel Gant, the director of the Healing Notes program, “There is something special about how music connects with children when they are in a difficult, stressful situation.”

Tickets for the benefit concert can be purchased online.
