• Pacoima Beautiful, City of San Fernando Unveil Pacoima Wash Greenway (sanfernandosun.com) — San Fernando officials and the nonprofit Pacoima Beautiful have opened the new Pacoima Wash Greenway beside Cindy Montañez Natural Park, adding trees, landscaping, and safety upgrades to this key corridor. The project, funded by a major Bezos Earth Fund grant, aims to cool the Northeast Valley, improve bike and pedestrian connections, and honor teen Elias "Eli" Rodriguez by making the wash safer for students and families.
   

• Family, SFHS Players Gather for Celebration of Life for Coach Bill Marsh (sanfernandosun.com) — San Fernando High School alumni, family, and friends filled New Christ Memorial Church in the City of San Fernando to celebrate the life of legendary football coach Bill Marsh. Attendees remembered his championship seasons with the Tigers, his later work providing affordable housing in the Northeast Valley, and his unwavering devotion to his daughters and community before his recent passing at 79.
