SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Two juvenile suspects were arrested after allegedly brandishing a firearm and threatening a person at a grocery store, police said.

Police said the incident began as a verbal altercation inside the store before two suspects left and later returned, where one allegedly displayed a firearm and threatened the victim.

The suspects then fled the area on a scooter, according to the police.

Authorities said officers using surveillance resources identified the suspects and later located them near Eighth and Market streets. After a brief foot pursuit, both were taken into custody, and a firearm with an extended magazine was recovered.

One juvenile was cited and released, while the second was booked on multiple offenses, including carrying a loaded firearm and making criminal threats.

Officials said the suspects' identities were not released due to their ages.

The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information should contact the SFPD at 1-415-575-4444.
