SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Patrons at a San Francisco bar got quite the surprise this weekend when they received free shots, and an even better surprise when they found out those drinks came from none other than Grammy winner Lizzo.
A video posted online by the SF Examiner shows Lizzo walking into Lookout in the Castro neighborhood and going towards the bar. Everyone cheers, with the caption saying she bought shots for everyone at the bar that night. A second video shows the Grammy winner singing into a hand fan.
The pop star had just finished performing at Oracle Park when she made the appearance, according to SFGate. She also had a signing at Amoeba Music for her new album, "B*tch."
Lizzo has been nominated for 13 Grammys during her career, winning four, including Record of the Year for her song "About Damn Time."
She was accused in a 2023 lawsuit of fat-shaming three of her former dancers. A judge dismissed the case in 2025.
