SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Drivers in the Bay Area can expect to pay higher bridge tolls when crossing the Golden Gate Bridge starting in July.
Currently, drivers crossing the Bay Bridge with FasTrak are paying $9.75. They'll be charged $10.25 starting on July 1. Pay-as-you-go drivers will be charged $10.50.

The increases are part of a five-year scheduled program approved by the Golden Gate Bridge Board of Directors in 2024 that will keep with maintenance of the bridge. Tolls will continue to rise each year through 2028.
Other Bay Area bridges also saw 50-cent increases at the beginning of the year.
