SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A man who recklessly drove through a popular San Francisco Park in the middle of the day has been arrested, police said.

Police say Ray drove through the middle of Dolores Park on Monday while several people were sitting nearby.

A video posted on Reddit shows a driver in a gray SUV speeding through the hilly park grass before disappearing from view.

A bystander reported the incident to police, who located the car two days later, police said.

The driver inside sped by on Van Ness Avenue and McAllister Street as officers tried to get him to pull over, police said.

The suspect refused and continued driving for several minutes before finally pulling over at Post and Webster streets, police said.

Two other people inside the car were also detained but later released, police said.

The San Francisco Police Department asks that anyone with more information contact the agency at 415-575-4444.
