Brad Chapin told The San Francisco Standard that Yekutiel painfully grabbed his genitals and tried to penetrate him with a finger during a party in February of 2020. Yekutiel has denied the allegations.

Yekutiel has denied the allegation, KRON4 reported.

Chapin told KRON4 he told a few friends about the alleged incident after it occurred. He filed a police report in April of this year.

"Not being believed is terrifying. To talk about something like this and not be believed is humiliating," Chapin told KRON4.

"He squeezed and he yanked and every time I tried to get away he squeezed harder and yanked,” Chapin told KRON4. "It wasn’t the sexual parts that mattered so much as the intentional infliction of pain."

Yekutiel, who is well-known in the Bay Area, has hosted political figures, including former Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Gavin Newsom.

In response to the allegation, KRON4 received a statement from Yekutiel, which said:

"These allegations are false. What is being described did not happen. When he reached out to me, I told him directly that it didn’t happen. He filed a police report, the police investigated and took no further action. They didn’t even need to interview me. His account has changed more than once since. And now, after more than six years, he’s raising it publicly for the first time, just as I’ve entered this race. There’s nothing here. I did not do this."

Since the allegation was reported by the San Francisco Standard, Yekutiel has lost endorsements from Attorney General Rob Bonta, Oakland Rep. Lateefah Simon, and District 7 Supervisor Myrna Melgar.
