SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A 32-year-old man was arrested over the weekend in connection with a deadly shooting in San Francisco in March, police said.
Police say Gregory C. Morton shot and killed someone in the 1800 block of Sunnydale Avenue the night of March 24. Police did not release the victim's name.
San Francisco homicide investigators took over the case and identified Morton as a suspect, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
Investigators secured a warrant for Morton's arrest and took him into custody on suspicion of murder sometime after 5 p.m. on Saturday, police said.
Police did not say whether Morton and the victim knew each other before the shooting or provide details about how they identified the 32-year-old as a suspect.
The investigation remains ongoing, police said. The SFPD asked that anyone with more information on the case contact the agency at 415-575-4444.
