SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A dog has been reunited with its owner after it went over the cliff in San Francisco on Monday afternoon, according to authorities.
Fire officials say the dog went over the cliff sometime after 2 p.m. near El Camino del Mar at Dead Man's Point.
The San Francisco Fire Department said its rescue team responded and quickly set up a rope system to go down the cliff.
Photos show rescue teams grabbing onto a brown dog while going up the cliff. The vast Bay Area water and Golden Gate Bridge can be seen in the background.
The dog wasn't injured and was happily reunited with its owner, fire officials said.
