SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Fire crews in San Francisco rescued four people from a building fire Saturday night that was eventually contained.
The 1-alarm fire was first reported around 10:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Mission Street between 14th and 15th streets. Firefighters began extinguishing the fire with water hoses and rescued four people from the building.
By 11:30 p.m., the San Francisco Fire Department announced in an update that the fire was contained. Other residents in the building were being assessed.
