SAN FRANCISCO, CA — San Francisco police are pushing for the public to help them solve a fatal shooting in the Tenderloin neighborhood 10 years ago.
Mitchell Warren was in San Francisco on Sept. 30, 2016, when he was shot, police said.
Officers responded around 4:30 a.m. to the 700 block of Ellis Street, where they found Warren with at least one gunshot wound, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
Despite efforts to save his life, Warren died at San Francisco General Hospital from his injuries, police said.
The suspect, meanwhile, has eluded identification for a decade despite photos and surveillance video of him.
Surveillance footage shows the suspect riding on the handlebars of a bicycle and later walking around.
Police say the person pedaling the bicycle was already identified, although it's unclear if they were detained, arrested or charged in connection with the fatal shooting.
The SFPD continues to offer a $150,000 reward for anyone who can help lead officers to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person suspected of killing Warren.
