ECOSLO Invites All to Join the 2026 Creeks to Coast Clean up in September (slochamber.org) — San Luis Obispo County residents are invited to join ECOSLO's 2026 Creeks to Coast Cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 19, aiming for 1,000 volunteers at nearly 40 sites from San Simeon to Nipomo. The free, family-friendly event removes trash from creeks, parks, lakes, trails, neighborhoods, and beaches while collecting data to help local agencies fight pollution.
3. City of SLO Will Host an At The Table of Belonging Experience (slochamber.org) — San Luis Obispo residents are invited to a free "At the Table of Belonging" food and culture event at Sichuan Kitchen SLO on Saturday, September 12, with timed reservations from noon to 4 p.m. Hosted by the City's Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the gathering features Cal Poly cultural clubs, volunteer opportunities, and a call for community ideas for future Belonging Project sessions.
