• Renters in nine Southern California cities are still seeing cost hikes while most others enjoy drops (nypost.com) — Renters in San Marcos are seeing some of the steepest price hikes in Southern California, with one-bedroom asking rents jumping 9.5% to about $2,430 and two-bedrooms up 7.2% to $2,990. While many nearby cities are finally getting relief, San Marcos remains one of nine markets where rents are still climbing.
