A new state senate bill and other proposals aim to better regulate high-speed electric bikes, while advocates urge more bike infrastructure and education instead of blanket bans.
   

• Marin folk band makes waves in local music scene (marinij.com) — A rising Marin folk band, Give Me a Dollar, has been growing its following through intimate local shows, including past gigs at Bar Voyage in San Anselmo. They're now stepping onto a bigger stage with a free 21+ show in San Francisco, sharing the bill with acclaimed singer-songwriter Abby Walker and other Bay Area artists.
