• Marin County firefighter quarters reopens following flea treatment (mercurynews.com) — Firefighters who had been temporarily housed at a Fairfax community center — and briefly relocated to the Butterfield Road fire station in San Anselmo during flea treatment — are now back operating from Fairfax's Fire Station 21. The flea infestation, linked by the town to raccoons and a prior outbreak at Peri Park, forced a three-day closure but round-the-clock staffing has been restored.
