SAN RAFAEL, CA — Marin County's Holiday Light Spectacular will return later this month with illuminated walkways, light sculptures, family activities and free movie screenings at the Marin Center Fairgrounds.
The six-week celebration will feature expanded displays and interactive attractions following last year's inaugural event, which drew more than 34,000 visitors, according to Marin County officials.
Visitors can explore glowing pathways, illuminated sculptures and walk-through displays throughout the fairgrounds and surrounding Civic Center campus.
The celebration will also offer holiday crafts, entertainment and free family movies at the Showcase Theater on select dates, according to the county's event webpage.
Opening night will feature a glow-in-the-dark juggling performance, while food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event.
Admission and parking are free. The fairgrounds are also accessible by Marin Transit and SMART.
The Holiday Light Spectacular will run nightly from Nov. 27 through Jan. 3, 2027, from 5 to 9 p.m., including holidays. The event is expected to take place rain or shine, although lightning or high winds could force cancellations.
