Caltrain Silent for 22 days on Human Error
Media blackout no coverage of this incident

Caltrain was silent for 22 days on human error of two engineers. Both engineers are currently on leave one of them tested positive for marijuana.
On August 24, 2012 at 8:25AM at the SSF station, the northbound train stopped and let some passengers off who started to cross the southbound tracks only to discover the southbound express upon them at a speed of 76 MPH with no warning. Some people had to jump for their lives.
Caltrain has a safety policy of look both ways and I think this was an extreme and perfect example. They also managed to keep this out of every newspaper in San Mateo County until this last Saturday. I think we all deserve an answer as to how did not one newspaper covered this.
