Brad Lewis To Be Sworn In As New Councilman

The City Council meeting Monday will see a new council member.

Brad Lewis will officially be sworn-in as the fifth councilman Monday night when the City Council reconvenes at 7 p.m.

Lewis, who has already served the city as a councilman and mayor, will be on the dais for five months, serving out the remainder of Omar Ahmad’s term.

On Nov. 8, the seat occupied by Lewis will be filled via the general election. Lewis has said he will not run due to prior career obligations.
