YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT WILL SHOW UP
One of the best things about San Mateo Cars & Coffee is that the lineup varies each month.
One Sunday may bring Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsches. The next may bring American classics, vintage cars, collector cars, specialty vehicles, or a local club arriving en masse. There is no fixed lineup, and that unpredictability is part of the appeal. You do not know what will come through the gate until the cars arrive.
CARS, COFFEE, AND PENINSULA CAR CULTURE
Walk the rows, watch the arrivals, take photos, and get a closer look at cars you might not otherwise have the chance to see.
The owners are just as much a part of the event. Ask questions, hear the stories behind the cars, and spend time talking with people who share the same interest. Some guests are serious collectors, while others simply enjoy cars and want to see what turns up that Sunday.
That range of cars and people is what keeps the gathering interesting from month to month.
THE AUTOVINO SETTING
San Mateo Cars & Coffee also has something most parking-lot gatherings lack: AutoVino itself.
The showroom and car museum are open during the event, and the F1 Cafe offers guests another place to stop while exploring the property. Honey and Daisy, AutoVino’s resident Labradors, are usually nearby, and dogs are welcome to join.
STAY FOR LUNCH
When Cars & Coffee wraps up, there is plenty of reason to stay.
Lunch at AutoVino features wood-fired pizza from the 1955 Flxible diner bus, charcuterie, and Woodside Vineyards wine from the Santa Cruz Mountains. For guests who want to stay, the morning can easily roll into lunch and the rest of the afternoon.
