Carlmont Graduation Kicks Off at 10am

Carlmont High School celebrates its 58th Commencement ceremony this morning at 10am inside the Usher Memorial Football Stadium.

More than 3,000 seats will be set-up on the field for family of the friends of the graduates. Tickets are not required and seating will be on a first come, first serve basis. Parents should enter the football field only at the north and south entrances. 

Guests who arrive early can hold up to six seats. The first three rows of the side winged sections of the aduience seating will be set aside for the physically challenged.

HELPFUL HINTS, courtesy of Carlmont High School:

Parking: The Scot's Gym Parking Lot and visitor parking near the softball field will be available. All other ON-CAMPUS parking will be RESERVED for our guests with a "visible" physically challenged seating placard and will be available at the entrance of the student parking area (cross streets of Chula Vista and Alameda de las Pulgas). The off campus parking will be in the surrounding communities. Please be mindful to not block our neighbor driveways or restrict access to their properties.

Photography: Please be courteous - do not crowd the front section photos opportunities. A professional photographer will capture the diploma / handshake moment.

Umbrellas: Open umbrellas will not be allowed in the seats (rain or shine). Move to the rear of the audience seats when opened.

Balloons: Must be kept below the level of the audience seats. Consider tying them to track fence until the ceremony is over.

Horns / Noise makers: NOT ALLOWED - Please be considerate of others.

Sunscreen / Hats: The weather remains very "unpredictable" please plan accordingly. THERE ARE NO SHADED AREAS!!!
